CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- Police in Carbondale said they responded to a domestic violence incident on October 23, involving a victim who reported being battered and threatened with a gun.
Carbondale police said the incident happened inside the victim's home on West College Street and the victim later received treatment at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police also said they obtained search and arrest warrants for Seth Creasy-Constantine, 32 of Carbondale. He faces charges of aggravated domestic battery and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
Creasy-Constantine was later arrested after he left the home on foot, police added. During a search of the home, officers reported finding a firearm.
Creasy-Constantine was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
