TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A two-car crash on Friday afternoon left the intersection of McDaniel Road and Woodsmall Drive closed for an hour.

According to Deputy McClain with the Vigo County Sheriff's Department, a two-car collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of McDaniel Road and East Woodsmall Drive. Deputy McClain stated that one of the drivers failed to yield the right of way at the intersection's stop sign.

Deputy McClain explained that two individuals from one of the vehicles had to be taken to the hospital, both with non-life-threatening injuries. Deputy McClain stated that the road was expected to be back open around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
