PLYMOUTH MEETING — Two police officers were struck by a vehicle Friday and injured outside the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia West in Plymouth Meeting.

Tom Dolan, of the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, addressed reporters Friday afternoon regarding the incident that amassed a large-scale police presence around the hotel, located at 640 Fountain Road, in Plymouth Meeting.

Dolan said one officer was struck a “total of four times” while another officer was “struck head-on by” the “suspect vehicle.” The officers were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Paoli Hospital.

Dolan told reporters “we believe they’re stable,” however, the current status of their conditions were unclear.
