Twenty months removed from a coming-out party at the Canadian women’s curling championship, Selena Sturmay and her Edmonton rink have found success again on the national stage. Article content Article content
This time it’s at the 2025 Home Hardware Canadian Curling Pre-Trials, an event to determine the final qualifier for the upcoming roar of the rings to decide the country’s representatives for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
“It’s been exciting,” said Sturmay, of the Olympic talk that’s consumed the early months of the curling season. “It’s kind of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to say that you know you’re competing to maybe go to the Olympics.
“So it’s really cool.”
