JERSEY CITY, N.J. (PIX11) -- As New Jersey looks to bring in a new leader, so will its second-largest city.
Seven candidates are on the ballot to become the next mayor of Jersey City.
JOYCE WATTERMAN
Joyce Watterman is the Council President of Jersey City, as well as a wife and mother of three.
"People should vote for me personally because I have experience," said Watterman.
Part of what she looks to address is affordable housing, something she says her record shows she has supported in her 12 years on council. She also looks to address sustainability by adding more greenery.
"I really got roots in this city and I see how this city's developing," said Watterman, "so you really need to vote for somebody that has the experience, that sees the changes in this City, and that can continue
