The transportation technology programs at Lambton Kent District school board high schools have shifted into high gear thanks to a generous donation from Ford Canada.
The auto manufacturer, working through Adam Lally with the Lally Group of dealerships, has donated modern engines, transmissions and a variety of other components, including turbo-chargers, alternators and steering racks, which students now are using to learn skills in the classroom.

“I like learning about the transmission. There’s lots of different parts and pieces to it,” said Grade 12 Chatham-Kent secondary school student Brady Gibson.
