SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Toys 'R' Us is opening dozens of stores around the country with the holiday fast approaching, including one here in East Tennessee.

A seasonal Toys 'R' Us store is coming to the Tanger Outlets in Sevierville. An official opening date has yet to be announced.

Another seasonal store has already opened at the Tanger Outlets in Nashville. A total of 20 holiday shops are or will open around the country.

After filing for bankruptcy and closing hundreds of stores in 2017, efforts to reestablish the once-ubiquitous brand have been ongoing in recent years. Several permanent flagship stores are now open, with plans to open another half dozen in the near future.
