HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Early voting for the November General Election gets underway on Saturday, October 26. Three candidates are vying for the office of mayor.

One of them is Democrat Joseph Ferris. He defeated the current primary in the June democratic primary, but Kamal Johnson is still running for re-election. Only this time, it's with the Working Families Party.

Ferris says earning trust in city government is his top priority, including cracking down on people who don't pay their property taxes. He says there are two sides to this situation. One is the collection process.
