The New Orleans Pelicans have a new face in their frontcourt as 2025-26 gets started.
The team announced Friday it has signed former All-Star center DeAndre Jordan, with Jordan reportedly inking a one-year $3.6 million deal ( per ESPN’s Shams Charania ). Jordan spent the last three seasons with the Nuggets, averaging 3.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 2024-25.
In New Orleans, Jordan joins a frontline that includes All-Star Zion Williamson and second-year center Yves Missi as the Pelicans are without Kevon Looney — whom the Pelicans added in free agency — as he recovers from a left knee sprain .
