TEXARKANA, TX (KTAL/KMSS) – Last year the Pleasant Grove volleyball team had one of its best seasons, going to the fourth round of playoffs for the first time in many years.

It is hard to come off a season like that, especially when you lose five seniors in a sport with six starters.

But head coach Amy Collvins saw the vision, and knew this team could compete on that same level.

"Guys, we have what it takes to be to win districts. I mean, we do. It's just putting all the pieces together and everybody buying in and working hard," Collvins said.

Most teams would call it a rebuilding year. And that's what many did say about the Lady Hawks. But to instill that belief, the team came up with a different word.

"We kind of like came into this year with like the word reload," junior Audrey Boe
