OSWEGO, Ill. (WLS) -- The man accused in a deadly stabbing at an Oswego Chick-Fil-A will remain in custody after appearing in court Friday.

Police said 19-year-old Darryl Lee Jr. of Kankakee broke into the restaurant in the 2700 block of Route 34 around 3 a.m. Wednesday and attacked a delivery driver with a hammer and knife, killing 52-year-old Tracey Land of Bridgeview.

A maintenance worker was later also stabbed, but he survived. He was able to subdue the suspect until police arrived, officials said.

Lee Jr. is facing 11 felony charges, including first-degree murder. A plea has not yet been made, officials said.

The Kendall County State's Attorney said Lee Jr. will be back in court next Thursday.
