A remake of Halo: Combat Evolved will be coming out next year for Xbox Series consoles, PC and, for the first time, a PlayStation console, Microsoft revealed Friday. This will be a rebuilt version of the 2001 game first released on the original Xbox along with new content.

Halo: Campaign Evolved will contain the original missions found in the first Halo game but with enhanced level design, updated cinematics and improved wayfinding, according to the Xbox Store listing. The remake will also have high-definition graphics, improved controls and three prequel missions that will star Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson.
