ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Changes are on the way at an intersection in Paulding County two months after a student was hit while walking to school there.
A new traffic study released Friday outlines what’s being put in place at the intersection of Winn Road and Sundance Drive.
Marie Mesidor get choked up talking about the morning of Aug. 27, when her 16-year-old daughter, Sabrynna, was hit by a car walking to school.
“She was on the floor and someone was holding her. She was bleeding and couldn’t breathe,” said Mesidor.
The Paulding County’s Department of Transportation said shortly after Sabrynna was hit that a traffic study was already in the works nine days before the accident.
That study was exploring the possibility of adding a traffic light, but Paulding DOT says there’
