LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said a man was arrested after he called 911, made threats toward his ex-girlfriend and ran from deputies.
Caleb Justin Chriswell is charged with false reporting to law enforcement and attempting to elude, but authorities say additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
At approximately 11:40 a.m. on Friday, deputies with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 18000 block of Highway 99 regarding a subject "who had called 911 and made threats to kill his ex-girlfriend."
LCSO said that when deputies arrived, the suspect ran on foot into a wooded area north of Highway 99 and south of Edgewood Road.
