A Brampton man is sought in connection with the discovery of a woman’s body at Charles Daley Park in Lincoln earlier this week.

Following an autopsy, Niagara Regional Police said in a media release they have identified the victim as 27-year-old Amanpreet Saini of North York. Police had been withholding her identity until next of kin had been notified.

Police were called to the park 11 a.m. Tuesday after the remains were discovered.

Detectives have identified a male suspect in relation to the woman’s death. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of 27-year-old Manpreet Singh, who is wanted for second degree murder, said the NRP media release.

Police also said they have information indicating Singh left the country after Amanpreet’s body was discovered.
