Vishal Dadlani just unlocked a serious nostalgia vault. The singer-composer, known for his powerhouse energy and outspoken style, took fans back to 1999, the year he gave his very first Bollywood interview. He was 25 then, still figuring things out, and appeared on Shekhar Suman’s hit talk show Movers & Shakers.

Posting a video of the old interview on Instagram, Vishal wrote, “Just a rockandroll kid doing his first-ever ‘Bollywood’ interview. This was 1999, I was 25, and when I said I had no idea, I really didn’t! (Still don’t!) Funny thing is, it feels like both yesterday and ten thousand years ago, at the same time."

He described that moment as both surreal and grounding – like opening a time capsule from his youth.
