NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Norfolk man is speaking out after he said his 6-year-old autistic daughter was able to wander from Crossroads School earlier this week.
The parent of the child said this situation happened on Tuesday morning. Wishing to go by Mr. Arrington, he said he got the call from Crossroads informing him that his child was missing around 12:30 p.m.
"Mid phone call, I jumped in my vehicle and God told me to turn down a side street. Going down the side street, I see my daughter being accompanied by a gentleman that I don't know, and one police officer," Arrington said. "I had to process everything because it went from fear to anger."
