Early voting kicks off Saturday and while all eyes are on the race for mayor, there are many other important contests on voters' ballots.
Manhattan residents will decide on their district attorney, a key office that plays a major role over criminal justice policy in the borough, at a time in which prosecutors’ offices across the country have become highly politicized.
"Inside City Hall" hosted a debate with three of the candidates.
Current Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is seeking reelection.
He's being challenged by Republican candidate Maud Maron, who worked as a public defender for over 20 years, and independent candidate Diana Florence, who worked in the Manhattan DA's office for 25 years.
