EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - It was health profession day at University of Southern Indiana.
That means high school students got a big visit to campus.
Officials say students got to meet with USI faculty and current students to talk about all the different programs offered.
The high schoolers got to be involved in hands-on experiences to learn about those professions.
Students say this is a great opportunity to help them choose a future career.
“I would say definitely its a good opportunity to see all the health professions on what might interest you,” says USI student Emma Ettensohn. “A lot of people don’t know about these different majors that are still here - the career field and stuff like that.”
USI Officials say they host this event two times a year.
