SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A Utah truck driver is one of several petitioners suing the U.S. government after a new ruling limits commercial driving licenses, or CDLs, for non-citizens. He spoke with ABC4 about the impact of the ruling and the ongoing lawsuit.

Jorge Rivera Lujan is a Utah truck driver and owner of River Bros Transportation. He has over a decade of experience, and his family is full of other truck drivers. For him, trucking is more than a job -- it is his lifestyle and his business.

"This is my trucking company. This is my truck, my trailer and this is how I provide for my family," he said. Rivera Lujan has not had any issues working as a truck driver, though he's gone through extra steps due to his status as a DACA recipient.
