MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Students eagerly filled the stands at Monona Grove high school to support their Silver Eagles in the first week of the 2025 playoffs.
They’re taking on the Brookfield Central Lacers, who are 3-6 this season and led by quarterback AJ Seymour.
The Monona Eagles lost one game to Waunakee earlier in the season, and are currently on a six-game winning streak.
They have been led by sophomore quarterback, Jaxon Zukowski.
The Monona Grove Dance Team looks forward to cheering their team on Friday night.
“It’s been really fun to preform with these girls and we’re really excited to do it again because we’ve done a lot of hard work and we’re really excited to showcase it all,” said a senior dance team member.
A Friday win for either team would mean advancing to the second
