The Issue: Calls for Curtis Sliwa to drop out of the mayoral race to help Andrew Cuomo win.

Please, Curtis Sliwa, do not drop out of this race ( “Defiant Curtis rejects ‘bribes’ & stands ground,” Oct. 22).

Republican voters in New York City have the right to a candidate they choose.

Even if he drops out, his name will still be on the ballot, and I will vote for him anyway — like most Republican voters will.

Maybe if the New York Post, and everyone else who’s been telling him to drop out, gave Sliwa some positive press, or at least a little respect, he would have a shot at winning.

I will not vote for a corrupt Democrat.

If they want to destroy this city by electing a communist, then so be it.

Andrew Cuomo , as far as I’m concerned, is no better than Zohran Mamdani.
