KARGIL, Oct 24: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, today inaugurated the North Zone Women’s Kabaddi Championship at the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus, organised in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Lt Governor emphasized the importance of promoting a sporting culture and enhancing women’s participation in sports, describing it as crucial for holistic student development. “Sports build confidence, leadership and teamwork while promoting physical and mental well-being.
