The Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching, and several contenders are hoping to bolster their squads for a late-season playoff push.
The reigning Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles are 5-2 heading into Sunday's Week 8 rematch against the New York Giants. After that, Howie Roseman and the organization can turn their full attention toward the trade market during their Week 9 bye.
The Eagles have plenty of draft capital to work with, possessing extra third and fifth-round picks. With that in mind, the organization is expected to target some defensive players before next week's deadline.
NFL.com writer Eric Edholm identified the Eagles as a buyer, linking them to a potential trades for Miami Dolphins linebackers Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips.
