Perhaps Toronto’s most famous resident opted to spend his 39th birthday with the Toronto Blue Jays.

With the Blue Jays taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers for their first World Series appearance since 1993, Drake opted to head down to the Rogers Centre for Game 1 of the series.

Drake was also shown on the stadium’s big screen, getting a big cheer from the local crowd.

Some eagle-eyed fans noted that Drake had an interesting choice of attire for the game. While he probably had the bank account to pick up just about any Blue Jays jersey past or present that he’d like, Drake opted to rep a Toronto high school — and a certain late mayor.
