LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - LINCOLN, Neb. - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team posted its 10th sweep in a row with a 25-17, 25-13, 25-17 victory over Northwestern in front of 8,516 fans at John Cook Arena at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Friday night.
In their annual Pink Match, the Huskers (19-0, 9-0 B1G) hit .357 and held Northwestern (13-8, 3-6 B1G) to .099.
Nebraska improved its streak of consecutive sets won to 31, which tied the 2009 team for the longest streak since 2007 (53 sets in a row).
Harper Murray had nine kills and eight digs, while Rebekah Allick and Teraya Sigler each had seven kills and hit .417. Andi Jackson pounded six kills and added five blocks, and Virginia Adriano and Manaia Ogbechie added five and four kills, respectively.
