MINNEAPOLIS — A Delta flight was leaving MSP on Thursday when it had to abort takeoff.

According to Delta, there was a mechanical issue with the plane that was bound for Portland, discovered as the plane was readying to take off. Customers were taken back to their gate and put on a different aircraft.

Delta said the flight landed in Portland two hours later than scheduled.
