Shillong, Oct 24:Pynkhrawborlin Kharjahrin, Executive Member in charge of Council Assets, was questioned today in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) on the construction of the market complexes in Mawsynram and elsewhere.

A query was raised by Mawsynram MDC Alvin Sawkmie during Question Hour on the third day of the council’s Winter Session today where Kharjahrin said that the complex was complete. .

When asked about the delay in the clearance of bills, Sawkmie, after additional questions by Mawshynrut MDC Srally Rashir on the market complex in Riangdo, asked when Kharjahrin had released the file from the Council Assets Department to the Finance Department for payment.
