A low-pressure system will bring widespread rain and thunderstorms to southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi this weekend.

A level 2 slight risk of severe weather is in effect on Saturday for the western metro, the bayou, the river parishes and parts of the Northshore.
The risk of severe weather is a level 1 marginal for Sunday for all locations.
Though the risk of severe weather is low for all parameters, the top threat will be damaging winds.
Parts of southeast Louisiana is under a level 2 slight risk of flooding on Saturday while the rest of the area is under a level 1 marginal risk.
