WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) -- Windsor Police Chief Donald Melanson is facing a vote of no confidence for the second time.
The Windsor Police Department has had its fair share of high-profile cases -- from racist images found at the construction site of the new Amazon plant to a man stealing a car with a baby inside before robbing a bank and crashing into a tree.
Now the department is facing an internal struggle, with its police union voting no confidence in their chief.
"97% of people who participated in the survey found no confidence in the way our leadership is running our department," Windsor Police Union Vice President Det. Patrick Dowd said.
