(WYMT) - We are wrapping up our week-long look back at memorable WYMT news, weather and sports moments as part of our 40th anniversary.

Friday night at 11, we showed you a viral moment on social media from the tornado aftermath in London earlier this year. WYMT anchor Steve Hensley was interviewing former WYMT anchor Danielle Smoot about surviving the tornado when a man was spotted carrying a cross. The video was viewed and shared thousands of times on social media.

Our top weather event was the catastrophic July, 2022 flood. 45 deaths were blamed on the flooding and aftermath.

In sports, we remembered legendary Belfry football coach Philip Haywood, who was inducted into the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
