NORTH HILO (HawaiiNewsNow) - Court records revealed a long history of traffic infractions for a man police say was responsible for a deadly crash on Hawaii Island Thursday .
His most recent citation came just three days before the deadly incident, and was for driving without a license.
The crash killed one woman and injured six others, including a 3-week-old infant, and the suspect himself.
Chanayah Nobriga, who drives Daniel K. Inouye Highway almost daily for work, recounted the erratic driving of the suspect’s truck.
“This truck was just passing three, five cars at a time, every chance he kind of got,” Nobriga said.
She recalled coming across the wreck, and described it as traumatic.
“Just to hear people screaming and like seeing the wreck and the car like up in smoke was like, ‘
