Keira Knightley is opening up about how she handles technology and social media as a parent.

During an appearance on BBC Radio 4 this week, the 40-year-old Atonement actress shared that she and her husband, musician James Righton , keep their daughters, Edie , 10, and Delilah , 6, off social media entirely.

“I find it very terrifying because they’re unregulated spaces,” Keira said, explaining that she wants to protect her children from environments she can’t monitor.

“In our house, we’ve got a no social media thing. They’re not allowed on devices if we can’t see what they’re looking at.”
