Brandon and Jessica DesFosses first got involved in foster care when they thought they couldn’t have children.
When they got approved to adopt, things changed.
“Just the age-old story,” Brandon recalls. “We got into looking into adoption and or foster care and we got into the foster system and-”
“Got pregnant right away,” Jessica laughs.
The DesFosses got pregnant at the same time they adopted, making their family bigger than they had planned.
“I think things just work out how they're supposed to work out,” Jessica says. “That's how I feel with our kids. That's how our whole situation felt. It just kind of all fell into place. So, we kind of just had a feeling that we wanted to do foster care, and it literally worked out perfectly for our family.”
