The Warren Hills football team extended its winning streak over Hackettstown to six in emphatic fashion during the 100th edition of the rivalry matchup.

The Blue Streaks scored on their first three possessions and put the running clock into effect late in the third quarter of a 48-20 win as they left Hackettstown’s Chot Morrison Field with the coveted “Beater Board” trophy Friday night.

Turning point: Warren Hills senior Mekhi Garrett capped a five-play, 69-yard drive with a 10-yard touchdown run on the first possession of the game.

Two plays into their next drive, the Blue Streaks found the end zone again as junior quarterback Cohl Stevens threw a screen pass to junior Dom D’Aconti and D’Aconti sprinted 37 yards for a score.
