The Warriors used up all their energy at home on Thursday night and ran out of gas in the Pacific Northwest on the second night of a back-to-back on Friday.

Steph Curry remained red hot, but his game-high 35 points weren't enough as the Warriors suffered their first loss of the season, falling to the Portland Trail Blazers 139-119 at Moda Center.

Curry picked up where he left off, scoring 16 first-quarter points, including a stretch where he accounted for 11 consecutive Warriors points. He added eight more in the second quarter and 11 more in the second half.

In all, Curry went 12 of 22 from the field and 7 of 14 from 3-point range. He's averaging 33.3 points through the first three regular-season games.
