Major updates for Aadhaar card holders! The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced a series of major Aadhaar card changes in 2025 – benefitting over 1 billion citizens.

In a significant development this month, the UIDAI revised Aadhaar update fees for both demographic and biometric corrections, effective October 1, 2025. The government has also introduced a new document verification list.

But the biggest reform is expected to come next month. Starting November 1, 2025, Aadhaar cardholders are expected to get major relief.
