IPS officer Anil Shukla has been appointed the new chief of the Delhi Police Special Cell, according to a transfer order issued by the Delhi Government’s Home Department on Friday.

The 1996-batch officer was holding the charge of the Special Commissioner of Police, Intelligence, Perception, and Management, in Delhi . He had earlier been posted in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and had also served as the Director General of Police (DGP) in Mizoram.
