PATHANAMTHIITA: An inspection by amicus curiae is progressing in Aranmula in connection with the gold theft in Sabarimala. The main strong room of the devaswom board is in Aranmula. A team consisting of Justice K T Sankaran and the Thiruvabharanam Commissioner is conducting the inspection here. The amicus curiae had also arrived in Sannidhanam for inspection recently.

If valuable items are received as offering in Sabarimala, they are mainly shifted to the high-security strong room in Aranmula. Justice K T Sankaran and his team appointed by the high court are conducting the inventory of the items. The move comes after controversies arose on the gold theft.
