WROTB distributions up by 35 percent; additional benefits go to Genesee as ‘host’

Michael Horton, finance committee chair for Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corp., was quick to let everyone know that distributions to the corporation’s 17 member municipalities are up considerably thus far in 2025.

“Distributions are up by 35 percent, across the board,” Horton said following Thursday’s shortened — due to a lack of a quorum — WROTB board meeting at Batavia Downs Gaming.
