Not just in the World Series but winning Game 1. Not just winning but slaughtering the seemingly invincible Los Angeles Dodgers on the opening night of the first Series in Toronto in 32 years .

This wasn’t just a win for the Jays. This wasn’t a loud arrival statement. This was hello America, hello Los Angeles, meet the Blue Jays. This was a knockout without the referee counting to 10. This was Schneider doing almost everything right and his counterpart, Dave Roberts, doing almost everything wrong.
