ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Ala (WKRG) – A Saraland woman has been killed following a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Escambia County, Alabama, according to a press release.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash happened on Friday morning at 5:00 on I-65 three miles north of Atmore.
They say an SUV driven by Saraland woman, 74-year-old Victoria Rodgers, was hit by a tractor-trailer, causing her vehicle to leave the roadway. The SUV then hit a cable barrier and overturned.
Rodgers was pronounced dead at the scene.
State troopers didn’t what may have caused the crash. They continue to investigate the incident.
