Bhubaneswar : The Odisha government is on high alert as Cyclone Montha is expected to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds to the state from October 27 to 29. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari has reviewed preparations for the cyclone and assured that the state is fully prepared to tackle any eventuality.

According to the Revenue Minister, the depression over the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 27. The cyclone is expected to affect 15 districts in Odisha, particularly the southern and coastal regions.
