US President Donald Trump has delivered a fresh jab towards Australia’s ambassador to the US Kevin Rudd after blasting him during a bilateral meeting, suggesting he does not "forget" remarks previously made by the top diplomat.

The US leader had said to Mr Rudd “I don’t like you either. And I probably never will” as they sat across the table from one another during the meeting on Tuesday (Australian time).

Sky News revealed in November 2024 that Mr Rudd had deleted social media posts which called President Trump a “village idiot”, “traitor to the west”, and “nuts”.

Speaking to reporters outside the White House on Saturday (Australian time), Trump appeared to backtrack after having reportedly forgiven Mr Rudd for his previous remarks earlier this week.
