Bruno Fernandes led Manchester United players in supporting Jadon Sancho after the Aston Villa loanee returned from a bout of illness.

Sancho started their Europa League match against Go Ahead Eagles on Thursday night. That outing was his first appearance since their opening game of the competition's league phase at home to Bologna in late September.

He was an unused substitute for their following Premier League match against Fulham , but missed the next two versus Burnley and Feyenoord. Sancho returned to the squad for their first match after the international break before then getting a start away in the Netherlands.
