Chennai, Oct 25: Fans of Malayalam cinema have reason to celebrate — the makers of director Rahul Sadasivan’s much-anticipated horror thriller Dies Irae, starring Pranav Mohanlal in the lead, unveiled a brand-new trailer on Saturday, sparking excitement across social media.

Sharing the trailer on his official X account, Pranav wrote,

“#DIESIRAE Release Trailer. IN CINEMAS WORLDWIDE FROM OCT 31!”

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the film with an ‘A’ certificate, paving the way for its Halloween release on October 31.

The newly released trailer opens on an unsettling note — Pranav’s character anxiously scans his surroundings as a haunting voiceover echoes:
