TOLEDO, OH — A Toledo resident is $20,000 richer after revealing a winning VIP Millions ticket purchased at a gas station in Port Clinton, according to the Ohio Lottery.
The lucky ticket, scratched off at HY-Miler #2241 on W. Fremont Rd., earned the winner a $14,575 payout after taxes. Officials did not release the name of the winner.
The VIP Millions ticket, known for offering the best odds of winning $1 million in Ohio Lottery history, continues to draw interest from across the state. As of Wednesday, 22 top prizes of $1 million remain in circulation.
The Ohio Lottery says its games have generated more than $34 billion for education programs across the state since 1974.
