The Queen of Spin, Alana King, has done it again.
Although this time, she’s not only pulled off an Australian record, but also the best-ever Women’s World Cup figures.
King on Saturday ripped through South Africa, taking a barely believable 7-18 to help the Aussies bowl their opponents out for just 97.
The leg-spinner’s 7-18 were the best bowling figures in Women’s World Cup history.
Not only that, they were also the best bowling performance by an Australian in a women’s ODI.
At one stage, King had taken 4-0 from her first 15 deliveries.
