Shri Tarun Kumar Pithode, a 2009-batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has taken charge as the new full-time Member Secretary of the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM).
Previously serving as Joint Secretary in the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Shri Pithode will now oversee key initiatives aimed at improving air quality across the National Capital Region. His appointment is for a five-year tenure, lasting until 8 September 2029, or until further orders.
