BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a suspect vehicle after a hit-and-run crash early Saturday in Brevard County left a man and a woman hospitalized in critical condition.
Troopers responded around 12:17 a.m. to a crash on State Road 520 and Clearlake Road involving an unknown sedan and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The sedan had taken off and the motorcycle’s two riders — a 55-year-old Cocoa man operating it with a 54-year-old Merritt Island woman riding as a passenger — were taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center, according to FHP.
The suspect vehicle is possibly a gray Hyundai sedan that would have heavy front-end damage, troopers said. It would possibly be missing the grill, fog lights, and most of the front bumper, according to FHP.
